BRAD Weatherization is an Energy Efficiency program for the Arkansas Energy Office and Department of Energy.

How will I benefit by participating in the Weatherization Program?

Families receiving weatherization services may see their annual energy bills reduced by an average of $200 to $300, depending on electricity and fuel prices and fuel costs during the year. Weatherization may reduce energy bills for up to 30 years or more. The savings add up over time to substantial benefits for weatherization clients, their communities, and the nation as a whole. Measures that BRAD Weatherization installs are attic insulation, wall insulation, floor insulation, weatherstripping on doors, air sealing crawl spaces and attics, and health and safety measures. These measures will continue to provide savings for the lifetime of the home.

BRAD Weatherization services 14 counties across northern Arkansas which include: Baxter, Boone, Clay, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Lawrence, Marion, Newton, Randolph, Searcy, Sharp, Stone, and Van Buren. To apply contact BRAD at 870-892-4547 ext 1365, ext. 1357, ext.1352 or ext. 1347.
